ANDROID LANDING

The bellbottom pants I wore in this look were created by one of my favorite visionary artists Android Jones. I am inspired beyond measure by Android’s ability to take portraits, objects and landscapes and turn them into visuals that are completely mind bending. His connection to the divine and exploration into his own soul is evident by his creations. It is my personal view that as an artist dives deeper into their own soul is when the essence of their true artistry is uncovered, and then readied to be shared with the world. I had the pleasure of experiencing Android’s Samskara exhibit a couple months ago and was completely blown away visually and spiritually as well. In each dome of the exhibit I was totally carried away into another world. As an artist I think that it is truly a gift to be able to create something that can carry an individual away to another place entirely and make them forget themselves for a while. I could see quite clearly that Android’s world was filled with divine inspiration and profound thought. Even the captions of his pieces were their own art with the way he explored spirituality and hidden truths in plain sight. So in this edition of Alien Aesthetic I decided to share some of Android Jones' out of this world artwork. I honestly found it so hard to choose as he has created so many powerful pieces over many years. I decided not to caption these photos as I think they all speak for themselves. I hope you enjoy his divine creativity as much as I do.

My first time meeting Kelso my impression of her was that she was a wild desert rose, a beauty truly comfortable in her wildness. I have seen her create spaces that have given people the opportunity to unwind and ignite as their true selves. You can see instantly upon meeting her that she has a heart that wishes to offer love, light and freedom to others on a truly big scale.

BETWEEN THE LINES

These black leggings have been a favorite item in my wardrobe for a long time because they feature“Ink Addict” along the side, which is why I continue to wear them even though I noticeably spilled pink nail polish on them. Writing has been one of the most consistent love’s of my entire life and that’s what these leggings remind me of every time I wear them, even though Ink Addict is actually in reference to tattoo ink which I love as well. Writing has brought more creative freedom and healing to my life than I can possibly describe. It has been an outlet to connection with my own soul for the entirety of my life and as I’ve grown into myself it has also become a sacred outlet for communication and manifestation with the divine. Our words truly hold tremendous power. Hearts can fill with love, fall apart and be mended back together again all through words.

Writing in particular offers great freedom because it allows you the space to channel words that may be intimidating to say out loud. Writing them down removes the weight from the words and uplifts you all at once. When you take words of love and write them down in addition to saying them you infuse them with your own loving energy. Spell weaving is done powerfully through writing, when you connect ink with parchment it is as if you are sealing a sacred bond. Tattoos have also brought so much healing and creative power into my world. I truly think of my body as the home of my soul and as such I like to envision my home as a canvas to be filled with the most beautiful art resonate to me as possible.

Today’s Featured Alien is Toni! On Instagram as @magicagirl. Toni is a Pisces Queen who is stepping into her power and intuitive gifts in a beautiful way. She is an individual who I look forward to see unlock even more of her unique gifts because after meeting her once you can see is truly something special. One of the most standout things about this divine beauty is her ability to nurture with tenderness even the tiniest of creatures. She has the heart of a true Earth Angel. There is a softness to her that brings a sense of calm to her surroundings and that softness is reflected in her sense of style. I would describe her style as vintage class with a rebel beauty twist.

ELECTRA ETERNAL

Over the last few weeks I have had a divinely inspired but still challenging lesson arise to the surface of my awareness. Spirit has been allowing me to see through the eyes of grace that not all those who I offer my love and friendship to have the current capacity to mirror it back to me. Without realizing it I had allowed myself to remain in friendships where the underlying foundation contained low vibrational intentions or simply the inability to stand in reciprocity. Spirit has made it clear to me through my readings that this is in truth a part of my natural ascension to the next cycle of life. Spaces with hidden darkness have suddenly been illuminated so that I release the attachments. This way the space I clear can be filled with harmonious connections and opportunities. This morning I was still feeling a bit heavy with the realization that my circle of friends was shrinking in size and I felt intuitively guided to make sure that I dressed with intention.

These crochet pants and “I’m not sorry” turtle neck jumped out at me from my wardrobe immediately. I feel they are both two pieces that make a bold statement. That statement being “I am who I am, unapologetically.”

I trust in my heart that through all shifts and changes it is part of my soul contract to remain a vessel of authenticity. Whether or not I am well received, understood or liked is not a determining factor in whether or not I should be myself. Staying true to the love in my heart and the creative fire in my belly allows me to manifest a destiny in accordance with the plans of the divine.

Though in some ways my circle is growing smaller I must also acknowledge at the same time my world is expanding in true love, experience and peace. Without a doubt this is not coincidence. As I clear out stagnant energy I am inviting in resonate energy, and with this quality is so much more valuable than quantity.

I decided to make this edition of Alien Aesthetic a sort of personal dedication to myself as a reminder of the divinity and creativity that fuel me in living transparently as myself.

As an adolescent I was depressed to the point I didn’t think survival into adulthood was likely. When I finally found myself and dove into the depths of my soul my life changed so miraculously it is truly indescribable. It is my greatest wish to show souls still wading in those dark places to the light through the power of their own unique expression of divinity within. To do that I must trust myself, I must trust the path and I must trust the divine. & so I must let go of all things that do not serve me, with love.

Today’s Featured Alien is Katie! On Instagram as @katiegetsmoney. My favorite thing to call her is Katiesaurus 1. Because she has a massive love for dinosaurs and 2. Because she is one of the fiercest gals I know. I have had the joy of working with Katie the last few months at Kindred Spirits and she blows me away all the time with what an old soul she is. When I look at her I get a sense of how big and beautiful her destiny is and I truly can’t wait to see what beauty unfolds for her. In Katie’s own words,” My style is a finicky, ever evolving mistress and I am completely at her mercy. Every morning I wake up with out a clue as to what direction sheʼll take me in.

Iʼve always used fashion as a means of expression. I would say I am primarily influenced by the music I grew up with and the past lives i just canʼt seem to let go of.
