FAERIE REALMS FOREVER

The first time I wore this floral print corseted dress was on the Summer Solstice. Although this years Solstice was abnormally grey and foggy the dress still kept me in the spirit of Summer. I have a special love for floral print and leaf textures as they make me feel especially connected to our Mother Earth, perhaps it is my nature as a Virgo to love being adorned in my element.

As I grow deeper into my self and deeper into my connection to the divine I find that my connection to nature magnifies tremendously as well.

Evidence of the divine is visible in the majesty of nature all we must do to to connect to her infinite love is slow down and breath her in. Spending time communing with tree spirits has become such an essential part of my spiritual practice and love language that I truly cannot imagine a life where I did not consider nature one of my truest and most reciprocal loves.

I have never been one to claim allegiance to any particularly religion or belief system, preferring to honor my spiritual creativity but when I stumbled into Druidry for the first time in my life I felt instant resonance to a belief system. The message at the heart of Druidry is the interconnection between ourselves, the divine, nature and creative expression. By honoring any of these attributes of the same great love you bring honor to the rest. My heart was so full in realizing that I had been a practicing Druid without even realizing it.

I truly believe with my all heart in our direct link to love being nature. This is why when a soul begins its journey into self love it naturally begins to deepen its love with nature, and when a soul begins to deep its connection to nature it begins to deepen its connection to self. We are truly one, bound in breath, bound in essence by Spirit.

One of my absolute favorite parts of my day is laying beneath a pepper tree in the park for an hour, connecting, grounding and loving. Escaping into the arms of nature doesn’t require you to seek anywhere further than your own neighborhood. There is always a tree that will be more than happy to shower you in love should you decide to rest awhile in the shade of her grace.

Magick still exists in the corners untouched by human greed, where the land is green and the cost of life is free.

Long after the stains of human waste have been washed clear from the surface, Nature will reclaim the shores and the balance of life shall be restored. We belong to Earth, Earth does not belong to us

Home is where the wild things go when the urban lights have lost their glow.

In the rustle of leaves I hear the voice of the divine speak. The kiss of the sun upon my face, true loves warm embrace. Wild flowers cascade down upon my golden crown, all I am comes from the heartbeat within the ground.

ROYALTY REFLECTED

This glittering gown found its way into my wardrobe just in time to debut on my 26th birthday and it instantly became a favorite in my collection. Anything that sparkles in the sun is usually quick to become one of my favorites. This dress in particular comes with the added flair of making you feel absolutely regal as if you are ready to float onto the dance floor of a Venusian ballroom.

While in this dress I also feel like a floating mirror which leads me to adore it even more. I’ve always had a love for mirrors. Not so much in their physicality but in what they represent. In many cultures all over the world mirrors are associated with different sun goddesses. Although each of these goddesses will have her own set of unique characteristics and powers there are a few things that link them: beauty, creativity, solar power, truth and justice. These are all virtues which I hold dear to my heart. Beauty is as virtuous as all the other virtues listed but it isn’t often seen as such. There is the dangerous belief that the appreciation of ones beauty is vanity. The appreciation of one’s self is only vanity if that appreciation leads them to thinking less of others. One of my favorite sayings is “perception is a reflection.” It is one of my favorites because it truly applies in so many areas of life. The way we perceive ourself and others is a reflection of our true character, as well as the way we perceive our circumstances and the world around us.

Another quality of this gown that truly brings me joy is the way that it makes me feel like a Faerie Queen just wandering her way through this human world. Allowing my imagination to take me to this place brings an additional dose of magic into my day. I often find myself imagining how beautiful it would be if everyday everyone dressed exactly as magical as they wanted to feel... without reservations or second thoughts about what others would think of their appearance. I imagine it would be the ultimate freedom of expression, the need for conformity slowly dying out as individual magic becomes more and more widely celebrated.

Imagine on your average Tuesday seeing faeries, angels, mermaids, goddesses and all sorts of other mythical beings just floating around enjoying life in freedom. What a dream I’d like to live.

“Mirror mirror” I asked, “who is the fairest of them all?” In response it said, “you beauty you see in me is reflected in all that you meet, the moment you cease to see the moment I cease to be”

Even in fragments an ethereal soul is reflected with the divinity of universal love

I’d love to take you to away to my realms of wonder. There’s so many discoveries I’d like you to uncover, from the flower fields between my eyes to the waterfalls between my thighs.

VIOLET NIGHT

My favorite thing about this sequined Kimono is the way it transforms me into a true cosmic beauty. It’s a magnet for the sun and when the two meet colorful shimmering lights are sent dancing all around the vicinity. It makes me feel like a true celestial wonder.

It’s one of those statement pieces that when worn people have trouble keeping their eyes off of, which in truth makes me feel even more vibrant and confident in my skin. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in this lifetime is the importance of letting your authentic light shine. In my youth I was uncomfortable with any sort of spotlight, thinking I was better suited standing in the background. Moving into my adolescence and early adult hood my confidence began to rise but I still struggled with allowing myself to be seen. Without realizing it, through my own moments of insecurity I had developed a fear of making other people feel insecure. So I found myself willingly hiding myself in an attempt to make others more comfortable, even though in truth their comfortability had nothing to do with me. We are the only ones in control of our self esteem. By allowing yourself to be your authentic self you cannot deplete the self esteem of another. We are all reflections of one another so naturally our behaviors may bring up unresolved insecurity in another, but it is not our place to diminish ourself. It is simply our job to be light.

If you perceive that shining your brightest is bringing discomfort to your companions you must use our discernment to decipher if this is an opportunity to offer love and encouragement or if it is a companionship better left behind. Only your heart will be able to tell you the difference. There will be those who are in need of your example, and being your realist most authentic self is in truth the most beautiful example you can set for those still searching for there inner light. Your love, light and words of encouragement can be the missing ingredient that brings their confidence to light. There will also be times when you may find yourself in an environment

where individuals prefer to see you mute your light and stay hidden in shadows with them out of their own fears of personal growth. In these shadowy places you cannot stay. Again, discernment is key. Listen to your heart.

Regardless of environment it is crucial to stand behind your light above all. Your light comes straight from the divine and the more you allow yourself to embody this truth the more your natural radiance can blossom, becoming a magnetic force for all those that you connect with. Do not be afraid if the lighter you become and the more your impact expands in reach, the smaller your personal circle grows. Sometimes we must clear space to invite in energy that is truly soul resonate and believes in our light as much as we do.

Don’t ever worry about how people perceive you and your light, just focus on the way you perceive you. At the end of the day it’s only your opinion of yourself that holds weight. Be willing to be the brightest star in the room in the hopes you may inspire someone there to stand in their own starlight. Be willing to take up the most space to set an example that one does not need to stay small. Most importantly be willing to stay true to yourself even in moments where it would be easier to shrink away.

A cosmic wonder with a presence that will wake you from your sleep like the rumble of thunder.

Magick is meant to be seen, felt, sipped slowly. So, baby, come over for a drink. I’ve already had too much to think tonight and I’m ready to set this sky ablaze with the violet light of our love.

Violet fire fills my soul an electric wonder to behold. Whether I warm you with a gentle caress or scorch with power emanating from my chest, is entirely up to you.

Technicolor lover, you’ve brought whirls of color into my world my imagination couldn’t comprehend until they were dancing before my eyes. You held a mirror up to my face and said, “my love the light is yours”

Do you see what I see? Realms of fantasy crashed landing into reality. It’s become impossible to decipher which is which, all I know is suddenly the world is vivid and time doesn’t exist.
