In a sea of Cherry Blossom trees I swam through the wind and danced with petals beneath my feet. I heard a whisper of love and much to my surprise your path and mine were destined to meet

This Vintage periwinkle dress from India was a blessed gift from a beautiful friend of mine. The moment I put it on I felt one moment I was Faerie Queen and the next I was Aphrodite rising from the sea foam. I Became a galactic goddess with supersonic power radiating from my fingertips, a water nymph twirling in the sunlight...

For as long as I can remember I have held a deep love for fantasy. The world itself truly encompasses so much and I find myself unable to choose which realm of fantasy that I truly love the most. I love the thought of dancing freely through the faerie realms, weaving magick in enchanted forests and making love beneath a massive psychedelic moon. I love the idea of diving beneath the ocean’s surface and transforming into a siren of the deep.

I allow myself to view myself through the

lenses of fantasy viewing myself as, Faerie, Goddess, Mermaid, Wolf, Enchantress and so much more which in truth brings a very tangible sense of magic into my reality.

This life is not meant to be lived with limitations and I find that the more I allow myself to embody my fantasies the more I rise in confidence and personal power which in turn gives me an incomparable sense of authenticity and freedom.

I am a firm believer that it is very important to adorn your physical body to reflect the magick you feel internally. The more I grow into myself the more I find my wardrobe is as vivid as my imagination. I find myself becoming wilder and more daring with what I wear all the time.

I am also a firm believer that there are so many worlds hidden within this world, more than we

could ever possibly perceive with a skeptical heart. In truth It takes a imagination to unravel the ever flowing and changing mysteries around us. Magick unfolds around us everyday and in my personal world adorning myself to look the part makes me feel a part of the most beautiful fantasy story every written.

There is a Water Goddess who lives on the moon. When it is at its fullest and brightest she dances down, touches ground then runs with lunacy into the ocean for there is nowhere to swim in the Sea of Tranquility

The Divine Feminine shares spirit with all that is magick, all that is pure in its essence. Whether two legged or four legged, winged or with a serpent’s tail the Goddess lives within.

Eve and Lilith two dynamic, vastly different figures, sisters in one truth, Adam’s rigidity led them to flee and change the course of destiny

Even in a modern world the color black is often associated with wickedness or darkness. Throughout my life I felt a strong pull to the color and consistently found myself feeling the most alluring or powerful in the color. We are taught that black is the absence of color but in truth black is filled with so much texture and as many variations as any other color. The color black is associated with Goddess energy and as such it must be layered with texture and richness. I cannot help but find it curious that in a masculinity dominated world the color that is ruled by the feminine is the one associated with wickedness. To drape oneself in black is to be dressed in the essence of feminine energy: sensuality, mystery, creativity and so much more.

One of the most intoxicating things for me being adorned in all black is the embodiment of rebel angel energy that wants to be expressed from my being. While I know in my heart I am a being of light and true divine love it is my ability to move through darkness and understand its ways while still blazing with fire that brings balance into my being. I am rebellious, fierce, wild and powerful and while I’m dripping in black I feel these delicious characteristics accentuated.

As a Black woman I feel an even deeper need to rebel against the prejudices aimed against the color black. Although social prejudices are vastly different from color preference there is certainly a bridge with black being represented as a source of fear.

Black is a color of true beauty, the absorption of the sun and the essences death and rebirth themselves.

There are many things in my world that I find immense beauty and light in that society has tried to deem as wicked, such as divination or witchcraft. To this I respond there is light and darkness in everything, it all depends on which essence resides in the observers own heart.

The clock strikes 12 and you’ve had one too many to think tonight, let’s uncage the animal within and howl in the moonlight

Water nymphs splashing in the forest, tempted by desire you’re unable to fight the current, drawn into their lair, eyes locked in they’ve got you snared… better hold your breath.

In animal symbolism big cat energy pertains to an individual who has struck a harmonic chord with their internal balance and can differentiate between the perfect moment to make a bold move

And when to lie in precise patience.

Timing is everything. As humans we have a tendency to try to rush headlong into what lies ahead rather than to allow the path to unfold naturally. We also have a tendency for the polar action of allowing indecision to freeze us into a blind paralysis. We must open our eyes, sink deep into our intuition and feel our way into the next breath of our destiny. Follow only the beat of a centered heart forward. Let yourself be led by the hand of the divine and gently guided by the internal compass of your own soul.

Tune out the worldly chatter and tune into your own personal truth. A Jungle Lady or Wild One knows that above all else they must be able to trust the truth of their own soul and the fire in their own belly. There will be blessed moments where we travel in packs but there will also be moments where we must learn to fend for ourselves and survive on our own wisdom.

Stay wild, stay free, stay open.
