The energy of this card becomes abundantly clear within the title alone. When this card appears in our midst we are asked to observe our personal world and do so without bias to see if the things in which we bestow energy and value are truly worth our time. This card highlights a time where there may be individuals lurking within our energetic fields who lack intentions with integrity or we may be investing in environments which do more damage to our growth and evolution than they do to usher on success. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to acknowledge when something doesn’t belong in your world anymore, especially when it comes to things that at one time seemed to align with your energy perfectly. It’s important to acknowledge that we are all constantly growing & shifting and to hold on to something that you know on a soul level you are outgrowing would be quite similar to holding onto a pair of jeans you know is 3x too small for you because 5 years ago they fit you pretty well. Why not make room in the closet for something that compliments you, energizes you and allows you to honor the present moment in which you stand? It’s also important to acknowledge that in life not every individual who claims themselves to be a friend or lover can stand behind that title. Be sure to know the difference between friend and alleged friend. Tune in.

Pearls Before Swine asks us to defend with commitment and dedication the things in our world that truly hold value. This means letting go of old habits that stand in the way of the clarity of your vision. This means reducing the need to be accepted by the masses and instead learn how to rely on the Insights found within and gifted to you by the divine. This means forgetting about societal pressures to conform and instead diving deep for the treasures lying within your own soul that are waiting for your discovery. Consider your spirituality, your creativity, divine love and connection your pearls. Consider anything that electrifies you and brings light into your world your pearls. Consider the relationships in your life that are fluid and flowing with love as pearls. Consider the sacred arrow of truth your pearl. Now, ask yourself, what is the swine?

Sometimes the voice of the Universe comes to us in whispers full of light & truth that lift our Spirit instantaneously. There are other times where the voice of the universe must come to us in an Earth shaking roar that upends our known reality. When the Ally card appears before us we are urged to acknowledge that when we place our soul in precarious positions the universe will send divine help our way but not always in the form that we expect. Sometimes divine intervention comes in the form of change so sudden that we may suddenly be asked to let go entirely of all that we hold as true or constant for the sake of evolution. Sometimes the graceful intervention forces us to let go of relationships and patterns we once held dear for the sake of growth and the attraction of souls & environments that are more resonate to our journey. When the dust settles we can trust that all will be as the divine intends & is in the highest alignment with our spirit. Above all what is required is surrender of the ego which likes us to believe we have a broader scope of a given situation than the divine. By surrendering the ego we invite in the wisdom and leadership of our highest self.

Ally invites us to embrace the shadows and immerse ourself in the work required to transmute energy in our auric field that does more harm than good and to then ascend to spaces of greater peace. Shadow work is not easy as it requires us to look in the darkest corners of our soul to find the light that was born there. It requires us to learn to see ourselves through the lenses of unconditional love. It requires us to hone in on the balance between the acceptance of darkness and its transcendence. Overall shadow work gives us the gift of self and allows us to witness even the most traumatic moments in our life as an ally on our path to graceful revolution.

Embrace the unknown, the uncertainty and the darkness. Learn to use these forces as your greatest assets rather than the containers for your fears.

Island of Jewels talks about the power in finding spiritual fulfillment through occultism. For many the word “occult” strikes a chord or fear. That fear leads them to believe that occultism is dark sided but I’m truth when you break down the word it simply means belief in the unseen dimensions. The twelve jewels pictured on the card are in reference to the powerful Archetypal language of Astrology. The language of Archetypes is ever flowing, truly impossible to find an end or beginning. Astrology just happens to be the most well known of Archetypal symbols. The maiden of

Virgo, Scorpion of Scorpio, Crab of Cancer to name a few are symbols that to most are instantly recognizable. As many individuals who step away from occultism as a whole there are many more who shun astrology as make believe. Personally, I believe the main reason people can’t find, or choose not to find truth in astrology is one hand because they stop at Sun signs, merely reading generic horoscopes printed in magazines or online. On the other hand people generally don’t like to be told they are exactly like others, which is a misconception that tends to be spread by only knowing one’s sun sign. In truth the deeper you get into astrology you realize the language of the stars show you the power in your individuality. It shows you how the precise moment you decided to take your first breath made you powerfully unique. It is highly unlikely that you will meet someone in your life who has the same exact placements as you. Part of what makes Astrology so powerful is not only does it show you where your greatest gifts and potential lie, it also shows you where your shadows are. For example, In my world being a Virgo Sun I know I have the potential to be deeply discerning, dedicated and with the capacity to absorb knowledge in a way that is almost unrivaled. However, I must also be aware of the fact I have the potential to be overly critical of others and hold them to incredibly high standards. Having that knowledge in my back pocket allows me to discern whether I am standing in unconditional love or if perhaps I am pushing others to reach for stars and experiences that aren’t resonate to their journey. If we were to look deeper at my moon sign, Sagittarius we could uncover I have the potential to explore great heights both internally and externally as well as be seen as an eternal optimist. However, the shadow realms of this sign may lead me to be frivolous, noncommittal and in extreme cases raging. This knowledge allows me to discern and utilize the art of balance. So, my invitation today is to dive deeper into your own language within the stars that have been transcribed just for you. For those reading this today who are already familiar with their astrological placements my invitation is to go deeper. Truly this is an ocean of self knowledge with no bottom.
