SOMA

Soma is energetically tied with the moon, when this card appears before us a time of working deeper with our intuitive feminine wisdom is upon us. We are asked to discern whether we are relying more on the insights of others or if we have truly learned to tap into the rivers of self understanding that lead to trust in the feminine intuition. It is crucial to have a flowing relationship with your intuition, one that is cemented in trust. Since we are all reflections of one another if we cannot find trust in ourselves it is unlikely that we will ever feel complete trust in another individual.

Soma carries the energy of higher initiation and the unfoldment of intuition into occult realization and spiritual evolution. It reminds us that the power we are looking for is already within, simply behind doors waiting to be unlocked by us through higher understanding. Soma is the magic mushroom which can provide us with the paths to these doorways. The last and very potent energy of the Soma is the reminder that magic mushrooms and other mind altering substances may contain pathways to enlightenment, but not enlightenment themselves.

This understanding is crucial because there are many on the path of self initiation that dive into substances without limits looking for pools of self discovery, which more often than not our found, but we must always remember to come back up for air. The Hot Seat is a symbol of divine authority that is loosely related to the Emperor in the Tarot. When this card appears before us it heralds a time where our gifts are going to be put to the test. We are asked to assume greater responsibility in our roles as spiritual teachers, creative leaders or wisdom seekers. To be placed upon the Hot Seat is a gift as it indicates that all the time spent investing in ones growth is rapidly paying off and the time has come to let yourself become an example for others. While a life free of responsibility may seem desirable on the surface, a life weighted with the responsibility of love grounds you into a fulfilling existence.

The Hot seat can also indicate a time where you are placed in greater positions of power by your soul’s own self intuition and desire to unlock its potential. If you find yourself feeling apprehensive about advancing to the next level and assuming greater power this is actually a sign of its import. It’s often the things that scare us that are directly where our soul wants to lead us, to push us out of comfort zones and into experience. Growth rarely happens from a place of complacency and growth is a crucial part of the soul’s experience, so simply we must move onwards and upwards.

This means holding ourselves accountable for both our light and our shadows. As we deepen our authority and connection to the divine pools of love we become a place for other thirsty souls to drink. It is crucial that we keep these waters clear with awareness. To lose sight of oneself and their commitment to the path ahead creates murky waters hard to navigate through.

THE RAINMAKER

In ancient tradition across the world the Rainmaker had a very sacred role amongst their people. It was the job of the rainmaker to connect with the Divine, inform the divine of the needs of the people and offer their body over in prayer as tribute to the divine connection as well as to invite in divine assistance. When the Rain maker appears before us we are asked to remember our role as enlightened beings on this planet. We are asked to remember that we can call in the forces of love and nature to assist the greater good of the planet. When you are a being blessed with spiritual authority or power it is a simple truth that you are asked to use this gift for more than yourself, you are asked to actively seek how your gifts can benefit the many.

A Rainmaker is blessed with the gift of invisible influence. This means you don’t have to force your beliefs on any individual to be impactful. If you believe someone in your world is need of divine intervention rather than forcing the issue upon them you may connect with the divine, drop into your heart and surrender all that you feel about the situation into their hands. From there they will step into the role of influencer at whatever capacity is the most beneficial at the time.

The Rainmaker is the vessel in which Heaven and Earth converge so that more light can be shared amongst the masses. Naturally, this is a gift that requires a great amount of responsibility for if you wish to be a beacon of light for others you must stay in awareness of your own shadows. You must be willing to shine light especially upon yourself and never lose your willingness to grow. As rainmaker you are a pool of water for thirsty souls to drink and it is your responsibility to make sure that the pool does not become polluted and cause harm to the individuals who are in need of the connection to divine love.
