THE HOLY MOUNTAIN

The energy of the Holy Mountain reminds us that though the climb towards fulfillment may contain uncertainties and obstacles every step of the journey is worthwhile. Every step of the journey takes you a little deeper into yourself. When we meet frustration on our path the Holy Mountain asks us to look upwards towards the divine and seek the higher perspective. Remember, every instance you find yourself standing in will have a purpose. By finding the higher perspective we are released from the hold of the ego that may be pushing us into outdated thought patterns such as, “things always go wrong for me, every time something goes right something bad happens or why do I even bother getting my hopes up?”

These ego fueled delusions can lead us to believe that the universe is working against us rather than with us. The Holy Mountain reminds us that the Divine is always on our side even when we can’t understand from the base of the mountain want the point is.

If today you find yourself feeling frustrated, uncertain what step to take next or simply feeling confused about what the point of your current circumstances are, now is the time to take a breath, step away from the distractions of the world and connect to yourself in solitude. Connecting to nature is also recommended since Nature is the breath of the divine on Earth.

Remember, though the journey may feel unstable and even dark at times you are creating a path with every step you take towards higher fulfillment and greater experience. The divine wants us all to experience a life full of wonder but we must be willing to climb for it. Sometimes we may get muddy and even a little scratched up but the view from the top will leave us breathless with divine love.

THE LOWER WORLD

The lower world is a place of hidden treasure, ancestral magic and shadows. When this card appears in our midst we are asked to dive into the depths of our soul and discover what is lying in wait for us there. Often In life when we feel stuck or perceive that something is holding us back the simple truth is that we must pause and unearth what lies buried within. It can be all too easy to be dismissive of ones wounds and feelings and then fool oneself into believing this means you are healed. Later when you find yourself feeling inexplicably sad or anxious you begin to wonder why these feelings have “come from out of nowhere.”

Today we are given the opportunity to avoid such an instance by grabbing our shadow self by the hand, letting them know that they are seen & honored and that we are willing to do anything necessary to bring them into the light. In doing so we bless ourselves with the gift of awareness, which in truth is the starting point of healing. By dismantling the hold our shadows hold on us it suddenly becomes much easier to move through waves of uncertainty and unlock your gifts from within. You may have limitless stores of gifts waiting to be utilized by you but of course it can be hard to see these gifts through a veil of shadows. As the veil thins not only will you make personal discoveries about your own soul but you will find yourself tuning in to your ancestral lineage of light. Countless generations of ancestral love now await in the spirit realms with the purpose of guiding you on your journey. In order to receive this gift it is crucial to understand both your light and your shadows. From this space nothing can have a hold over you but the beacon of your own soul. So, today turn inwards, dive in and let your inner magic take hold.

HUMMINGBIRD

Hummingbirds are one of the the most beloved winged creatures for their beauty as well as their symbolism. Hummingbirds have long been thought to be messengers of the divine or incarnations of ancient

ones who once roamed the Earth. When the hummingbird card appears before in our midst we are asked to channel the energy of this being by allowing ourselves to explore new territory and make new discoveries about ourselves. Much like the hummingbird who bounces from tree to tree looking for the sweetness between the branches we are pushed to uncover the beauty in the world that surrounds us. Whether you’ve lived in the same place your whole life or are in an entirely new environment there’s always

something to be discovered so long as you are willing to look. The way the hummingbird moves seamlessly from

flower to flower holds a deeper symbolism for us well. We are asked to leave behind the pain and uncertainty of our past by setting our sights on our future and focusing on the flowers lining the path ahead of us. Though it is crucial to be in awareness of our surroundings and think of our safety and comfort as a priority now is the time to move freely without our guard up to wall us in from experience. Now is the time to taste the richness that the world has to offer you.

Another divine trait of the hummingbird is the way it’s feathers reflect the colors of whatever it has been consuming as food. this is yet another sacred reminder for us. We must be mindful of all that we consume as our body truly is our temple. This is not just in reference to food. The music/ programming we listen to, the media we watch and conversations we engage in are all forms of energetic consumption which will effect our vibration and energy levels.

So, today choose mindfully of all that enters your temple as it will allow you to reach greater heights. From there the discoveries you make both internally and externally will be glorious.
