It can all too easy to fall into frustration and disappointment when it feels like despite our best efforts things simply aren’t going according to plan. In these moments where it feels like doors keep closing and opportunities are few and far between we are asked to see the big picture, from the perspective of the divine.

Every set back, no matter the size, is orchestrated by the divine with our best interests in mind. In these moments it can difficult to see the higher perspective if we are viewing the situation through the lenses of our ego. Remember, the ego can fool you into thinking things are much more detrimental than they are.

By viewing things from the higher perspective, through the eyes of the divine we begin to understand that sometimes we must feel loss and disappointment today for the sake of our happiness tomorrow. For example, perhaps there is a new job that you’ve applied for and you want it very badly. You think the position is perfect for you and will improve your quality of living drastically. Upon finding out you didn’t get the position you find yourself feeling disappointed with yourself and the divine, questioning your self worth and whether you are truly even seen. By understanding that there is always a bigger picture than what is presented before us you may realize that though this position was important to you it was the difference between comfort and homelessness for another, perhaps this door was closed on you because Spirit was aware that your energy would clash with the current employees leaving you feeling isolated, or perhaps this door was closed because If you’d taken it you’d have missed out on an even bigger opportunity just a few weeks away. Remember, disappointment will never be just for the sake of disappointment. There is always a gift or learning lesson hidden inside for the development of your soul.

If you have trouble accepting your current circumstances see this as an opportunity to deepen your trust in yourself and with the divine. Faith makes dreams come true. Faith is the simple understanding that in the end things simply won’t go wrong because of your connection to the light. The universe wants to see how much trust you have, have much faith you have in the forces bigger than yourself. The moment you surrender to your circumstances is the moment you will begin to see them change in ways that fill you with comfort and reassurance. So, ask yourself today. How much faith are you standing in? How willing are you to wait for the big picture to be revealed?

In this life there is not a single individual who gets to bypass learning lessons that include trauma and heartbreak. While we are not responsible for the infliction of our wounds we are completely responsible for their healing and release. A victim mentality may help keep our head above water whilst we are in survival mode but if we truly wish to thrive we must learn to let go and take responsibility for our happiness.

Ra! Ra! Ra! Appears to us with the sacred message that the time for living in shadows, wallowing in fears and self doubt is over. Now is the time for abundant living and prosperous circumstance. Often we can wear our trauma as armor, using it as a safety net so that we don’t become completely vulnerable again with others. In this life vulnerability is the only way to experience lasting happiness with true fulfillment. You must be open to embrace the world with arms wide open and a heart ready to receive.

If you find fear, trauma and heartbreak are still close to your heart on this day imagine that you have just gotten in a new relationship with the love of your life, you see their pain and you are willing to do anything to help them. Recognize yourself as this great love and be willing to undergo a journey of deep release and healing for the sake of your happiness. To begin the journey we must locate the center of our pain. I recommend a sacred journal which you allow yourself to fill with your innermost truths, no matter how vivid or vulgar you find them. Creating a sacred space with yourself allows truth to free-fall from a closed mouth. Writing is an amazing medicine for those who have trouble opening up or knowing exactly what the issue is. Writing connects you directly to your soul, bypassing a restless mind and getting straight to the truth. I recommend meditation before you slumber where you ask your guides in assistance in finding the higher perspective and releasing the past. When you awake journal all that comes to mind, or better yet to hand. The key to healing is simply to look within and look for the higher ground through the eyes of the divine. From there every step will be provided for you, you must simply start the journey.

CROWN OF THE BUTTERFLY BAMBINI

When this card appears in our midst it is with the very sacred reminder that progress is in truth the perfection that we seek. It’s important to recognize the strides that you have already taken in becoming the essence of love you wish to embody. Often when we have been pushing towards a goal or vision for an extended period of time we get so caught up in the path forward that we forget how much effort we’ve already dedicated towards our transformation. Looking backwards at your efforts and strides towards happiness can give you the much needed fuel to keep traveling onwards.

Transformation is a sacred power. To be willing to take all of which you are and put energy into transcending into levels that are resonate to whom you know you are supposed to become takes a very special kind of strength and courage, because in truth it is much easier to simply stay the same. It is much easier to blame the world around you for your unhappiness and stagnancy. It takes tremendous might to say “you know what, I think my happiness is my hands and up to me to maintain and create more. My dissatisfaction is also in my hands and it’s up to me to minimize.” To be willing to undergo transformation for the sake of peace and fulfillment shows Spirit that the value you hold in your current time on this planet. The more you show value in your experiences, whether or not you deem them as pleasant or unpleasant, the more Spirit will provide you with the opportunities needed to embody the butterfly soul you are truly meant to become.

So if you find yourself struggling with the process of becoming, looking toward the future in frustration because you are not yet all that you wish to be, now is the absolute perfect time to pause, reflect and look back. Look back and celebrate yourself dearly for beginning the journey in the first place. Celebrate yourself for your efforts. Celebrate yourself simply for existing here in this moment. Not everyone makes it this far on the path, it’s okay to need to rest in your progress for a while.
